Lynx plush by Cassandra-Leopardess Lynx plush by Cassandra-Leopardess
Here is a faux Lynx plush that I recently finished :)
Its made from %100 faux fur that had a lynx pattern to it so I decided to make a lynx push out of it which was a bit of a challenge matching up the pattern. The only parts that I airbrushed is the head and paws. It also has one blue eye and one green/blue eye.
This took me many days and hours to make :faint: I won't be making another plush like this for a while =P

Here is how it looked before airbrushing sta.sh/0jyucw3azu3
And here is a photo of its paws sta.sh/01uhixpjaluu

Thank you! :D I hand carved it out of upholstery foam which only really works for faux plushies :)

Wow this is just awesome!
I think I really have to commission you one day when I am ever able to afford something like this LOL
I think I never will be able to get a real complete and mountable lynx pelt but a soft mount like this one would make a good start!

Thank you
Yes some things are really hard or expensive to get as real soft mounts so plush ones are a good substitute :) I am thinking of eventually making smaller sized  wildcat plushies as pre-mades to sell with resin heads as that's way more easy to do and that way I can sell them for a much cheaper price :)

Makes sense. You are really good at it too, I bet there are some people who would buy them and have the money.
Besides from real fur items I love good done plushies and would buy them if I could afford them.
By the way what kind of animal is in your avatar? It looks pretty cool.

Thanks :D Yes I also love collecting nice plushies as well as real taxidermy. I may do more complex plushies if I have the time but I would have to charge quite a bit for all the hard work that goes into making them :D
My avatar is this mask that I made cassandra-leopardess.deviantar… Its supposed to be some kind of a large lynx like cat with more panther like features and a long tail. Its based of something I have seen in my dream a few times.

It really looks great, so lifelike and the dual-colored eyes are pretty good too, match to the fur color.
Yes I see that you put a lot of work and skill into your plushies which makes them so good. I can see the price would be costy but if I had the money I would pay it. Too bad I am poor -.-

Thanks I like the eye colour I chose :)
I can do smaller plushies in the same style as my lynx for a more affordable price and I do payment plans if you ever want to commission me :)

I couldn´t pay 100€ or something every month when I also have to pay even more every month for the bill I get all the time, but if it would not be an issue I wouldn´t have a problem with that.
The best size for a plushy like that would be like a soft mounted fox or real lynx or something.

I understand. Yes this lynx is a life size one so its a pretty big size. If I can find more fur like it then I will be able to make another one. I could also do other wild cats if I find other kinds of fur that would work or I could even airbrush markings on fur to make something like a snow leopard :)
